The nurturing art of Baby massage has been practised for centuries in many cultures such as India and Africa where it is considered an important daily routine for caring for your baby. Learned through lineage, it was initially done by grandmothers and then carried on by the mother. The ritual practise of massage continued from the baby’s early life, through childhood, adolescents and into adulthood.
Baby massage provides a wonderful, nurturing experience for both a mother and her new baby. It offers a unique way to communicate through the use of touch and eye contact. It strengthens the bond between parent and child with numerous benefits resulting in a calmer, happier and healthier baby.
Learn how to massage your baby in small, relaxed and friendly classes, a skill that you can continue to use as your child grows. All course materials supplied. The Massage for Baby courses are ideally suited for pre crawling people, but parents with active infants are welcome to come & take notes!
